ABOUT US
Up with School Arts is a Little Compton-based, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting art programs in Eastern, RI and Southeastern Massachusetts public and private schools. It is our mission to bring well known professional musicians and artists to elementary and secondary schools for performances and instruction in their area of specialty.

Up with School Arts also sponsors student mentor-ship programs whereby older, advanced students with exceptional skills in music or the visual arts help other music programs augment their already financially curtailed budgets in these fields. Students, who may be in need of a loaner instrument, are also supplied one courtesy of our organization.
Up with School Arts gives students an opportunity to see practical demonstration of a variety of orchestral; keyboard (organ and piano); as well as many lesser known instruments used in diverse cultures from around the world.
Programs vary from year to year at each school in order to bring a variety of musical and artistic experiences to each student. An important aim of Up with School Arts is to serve more schools in the region with varied and educationally sound programs.
